I know this sounds funny. As a superman fan, I cannot solve this question. I would not appreciate any irrelivant answer.How did superman cut his hair?In the Superman (1996) cartoon starring Mr. Mxyzptlk, we see Clark shaving in the mirror using his heat vision to burn off his whiskers, so we can assume he does the same sort of thing to his hair. (In the old stories, the writers simply wrote it off as "Superman is an alien, therefore his hair doesn't grow").



There's an old Superboy story (from the 1960s) where the town barber is confident he knows Superboy's secret identity because Clark is the only kid in town who doesn't come in for a haircut (yeah, like he's the ONLY kid in a farm town who doesn't cut haircuts from mom at home). Anyway, that story est. that his hair is too hard to cut with scissors, and Clark fooled the barber by wearing a bald cap and wig when he saw down in the chair (this making the barber think Clark's reason was because he lost his hair to a childhood disease). Totally goofy, but a lot of fun to read. If you want the issue number, I can try and dig it up.

i don't think they changed it i know his beard grows now and he uses his heat vision to shave the only time his hair grew on earth is during reign of the supermen when he was nearly powerless (and a barber cut it after final night but he was drained of his powers again) check some of the older stories

Cut it? Who says he did cut it? Maybe I'm stupid or I just don't know what you're talking about, but it always seemed to me that he used gel or something. This might have made it seem shorter?! Hm, Im blabbing.

In Superman for All Seasons, the barber tried to cut his hair as a young man, and it shattered the scissors. So, hoestly, I have no clue.
In the comic books, Superman has used his heat vision and a mirror to shave. It is most likely something similar to that.
