If you had to rank superman in the marvel universe?

Superman is so overrated... people have this idea he's the most powerful comic character. He would have butt handed to him in marvel... Thor, hulk, sentry, silver,Doom, dark Phoenix, wonderman etc etc... heck in DC, wonderwomen green lartern, supergirl, Batman, Martian manhunter... Superman isn't overrated. He genuinely is that powerful - that's what's appealing about the character. He's someone who's been blessed with so much power and rather than choose to use it for selfish purposes, risks his life everyday to use them for good.



People might call him corny and old-fashioned because no one these days cares about a hero who actually acts like a decent human being. Everyone wants loud-mouthed, sarcastic 'heroes' like Rambo, Iron Man etc.



Also, Superman has shown to be able to beat Thor in JLA/Avengers. He was even able to lift Thor's hammer, something that Hulk was shown to be incapable of. Strength-wise, Superman has been able to lift planets, whilst Hulk was only barely capable of lifting mountains, and Sentry was knocked-out by Hulk once, thereby making Superman stronger than him. Doom, Dark Phoenix, and Wonder Man are so below that scale that Superman could take them all down.



Wonder Woman does not match his strength at all, and neither does Supergirl or Martian Manhunter (though he does come close). Batman can beat him via inventiveness, but power-wise Superman still wins. People don't have this 'idea' that he is such a powerful character. It's a fact.



Point in case, the only few characters that can beat Superman are probably on the cosmic scale, characters like Silver Surfer, Blue Marvel, Captain Marvel. He's not overrated, he's designed to be this powerful. A all-powerful superhero isn't boring because he's all-powerful. An all-powerful superhero is fun because there are no limits to what stories you can write with him.If you had to rank superman in the marvel universe?in the DC universe its batman, batman can easily defeat superman by using a piece of kryptonite i dont remember if it was the cartoon from the 90s that im recalling this from but he said he kept a piece of kryptonite on his utility belt just incase superman loses it or something like that. but all comic super heroes have faults and weaknesses that another can take advantage of so its hard to sayIf you had to rank superman in the marvel universe?
