In it, there were some Prohibition-era liquor smugglers, and among their weapons, they had chocolate covered hand grenades. Superbaby mistook it for a chocolate covered Easter egg and swallowed it. When it went off in his stomach, everybody thought he burped. That was the first time I ever saw him doing anything like that.
I know he's done similar things since, including drinking nitroglycerine on the TV show starring George Reeves.
In a story set in the 1970's, with the young son of his friend Pete Ross, Jon Ross figured out Clark's secret identity when he looked in his bathroom for a bandaid, and found that Clark had nothing in the medicine cabinet behind his bathroom mirror but a comb and hairbrush! As Superman, he didn't need to shave, never cut himself to need a bandaid, never got colds or flu or indigestion or cavities or hemmorhoids or any of the other things that make people go out and buy stuff that they keep on hand to get well. So he realized the only person like that that never got sick or had to shave was Superman.
The irony was that Jon's father Pete Ross also secretly knew Clark's identity, and never told Clark, but used the knowledge to cover up for him and help him whenever he needed to slip away and change. This was back when there was still a Superboy.

This is a dynamic, fast- paced and entertaining movie . Full of action , it's complemented by fine comedy, thriller and breathtaking scenes. The picture relies in terrific flying sequences and by-now classic relationship between Lois Lane and Clark Kent, though with particularity, as Lane has a child and lover, but the big guy takes up with former flame. The romance among Lois and Clark is made believable and the script has more pace to it than original. Our superhero, well incarnated by Brandon Ruth dons the suit and cape, for that reason he can to be identified with the rest of his life and he deserves credit for remaining true to character.Superman Returns: I thought it was a good movie?

I just wasn't thrilled with the whole "Superman and Lois have a love child" thing. The movie was good in some ways, but bad in others. I thought Routh was an excellent CK/Superman, but Kate Bosworth wasn't my Lois Lane. She seemed whiny to me and not like my childhood role model: the quick, witty, and independent Lois Lane that young girls can look up up to. There wasn't necessarily anything about her that girls couldn't look up to (except love child, but that was Superman's fault too which makes me angry because he's supposed to be a beacon of hope and morality *morality rant over*), she just wasn't what I expect in a Lois Lane. That's not Bosworth's fault, it was just the way the character was written and I disapproved.
The comedy in the movie, however, was appropriate and made me laugh the first 2 times watching the movie, but it seemed to be a little *too* much when I think about it. I mean, how many Chris Reeve Superman references do you need?
I think the movie would have been better if they let it be on its own, instead of continuing the Chris Reeve storyline that should have just been left the way it was. The Chris Reeve movies were perfect they way they were; Superman Returns kind of ruins them. If they had just made it completely separate from the originals, it would have done much better. That's what they're trying to do now: they've announced a film titled "Superman: Man of Steel" and they're talking about hiring all new actors and writing a completely different script from Superman Returns. This will be a reboot of the legend, and will let the Chris Reeve films stand on their own and honor the man who let Superman live :)

Can You Help Me Find Information On The Cult Of Superman?
I am trying to locate any information on the cult that appeared in the Superman comics. I remember them from the Death of Superman through the Return of Superman storylines. What I am wanting to know is who created them, who's their leader are they still in use.... Anything for the most part really. If you can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it!

Who would win in a fight, Superman or The Flash?
OK, so I've been having this discussion on who would win. Majority say Superman because his Steel skin, superhuman strength, laser eyes, ice breath, etc.
But some have said that, the flash would run circles around Superman, grab him, shake him heaps fast and distort him then possibly, while Superman is phased out, run in into the ocean, deep enough that Superman's extreme breath holding abilities can't keep up with, then drown him, which sounds good, But what's your opinion?Who would win in a fight, Superman or The Flash?as long as the flash didn't get too cocky and kept out of superman's reach, he'd be safe. the minute he started horsing around and superman caught him, he would infect him with syphilus and would read him from Thus Spake Zarathustra till his eyes bled.Who would win in a fight, Superman or The Flash?
It seems like EVERYONE forgets that Superman is nearly as fast as the Flash. And if the Flash tries the stupid running in circles trick, Superman just has to fly out, or even just stick is leg in the way. If the Flash gets tripped up, inertia will keep him going through the air for a while. Also, Superman has done the same trick before, only flying (referring to Superman/Batman: Public Enemies). The main point is that Superman's own super-speed, coupled with his other powers, would be the deciding factor.Who would win in a fight, Superman or The Flash?Apparently its been determined that The Flash is faster than Superman (which is fair, considering speed is the Flash's only superpower and Superman has probably over a dozen). However, because of all Superman's powers, he would win in a fight between the two.

In my opinion, Superman. The Flash is fast and may be able to outsmart Superman, but Superman is pretty much invincible. And if he starts losing he could fly away, come back, and kill The Flash in his sleep.
Superman would win, aside from being fast Flash is essentially just a man. Flash wouldn't be able to move Superman, Superman may not be as fast as Flash but its close enough so that he couldn't do any of the things you listed.

The other answer is false, there are brakes at the top to keep the car from going too far, which it has never been in any danger of doing. Well I did a paper in collage on this subject. See when the bullets are fired at him it brakes up into microscopic shrapnel immediately on impact and thus it is no threat to innocent bystanders.
When a villain throws a gun at him that is an entirely different situation. When the gun bounces of him it might fire off accidently and a stray bullet could hit an innocent bystander and Superman possibly will be charred with manslaughter and since he is not human per say he might be subpoenaed or even used as evidence in a court case and all that time in court could hamper his efforts to save the world. When a villain throws a gun at him that is an entirely different situation. When the gun bounces of him it might fire off accidently and a stray bullet could hit an innocent bystander and Superman possibly will be charred with manslaughter and since he is not human per say he might be subpoenaed or even used as evidence in a court case and all that time in court could hamper his efforts to save the world. Aside from Hancock, why can't a minority be a MAJOR superhero? It's so boring seeing the same white unknown actors cast as major superheroes! Why can't Hollywood do something different with all these remakes of Batman, Spider-Man, and Superman and cast a minority? Or maybe even a minority love interest or villian, instead of just casting them as a friend or lackey?
