How come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?

he ducked under wooden chairs too! He's afraid of splinters! How come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?LOL, great question! I have no answer but thanks for making me smile! How come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?
omg thats hilariousHow come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?Still on these questions huh Molly? Lol.
Well Molly like they say, only in the movies. Blanks are being used, his costume has very small explosives on it that go off with a timing device to make it look like a bullet or bullets are hitting him. The blank gun is real and when thrown at him if he doesn't duck he will be hit by something that will hurt. How come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?Apparently he has afraidofgunsophobia

Yeah...I know. We all believed kryptonite was his weakness, but it truly was gunsHow come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?
guns hurt more than bullets duh didn't you know that
because they didn't actually shoot bullets at the actor, they did throw the gun at himHow come Superman could stop bullets with his chest, but always ducked when someone threw a gun at him?
natural instict I guess
Because he doesn't want to get hit in the head and pass out lol
the bullet was traveling at a much faster rate of speed and his eyes did not have a chance to adjust to it, but the gun was moving much slower so that's why

and maybe he was afraid of hardened steel

good luck
