I imagine he takes them off at super-speed and stashes them somewhere. It could be anywhere if he has super-speed ("I'll just leave my boots and cape under this rock in Tierra Del Fuego and get back to the office i. .0005 seconds"). I do wish they'd come up with a better explanation, though, like it's Kryptonian nanotech fibers or something.
