Is a two year old too young to watch Spiderman or Superman movies?

Please be nice... I'm a total newbie at all this looking after kids stuff...Is a two year old too young to watch Spiderman or Superman movies?It really depends on your child. If you've introduced similar movies and he/she has been fine then you might be ok. My brother-in-law would let his son watch all kinds of movies at that age and he loved them. He would watch the "Kill Bill" movies at age 4-5 and loved them. You just have to teach your child what's real and what's "pretend." Some children love action and suspense at an early age. You have to use your own judgement because every child is different. For example, my 9 yr old nephew loves the Harry Potter movies, which are a little intense for children...but my 9 yr old daughter hides her eyes during most of the intense scenes. If your child doesn't frighten easily, then I'd say go for it. I would take my children to see Spiderman and Superman.Is a two year old too young to watch Spiderman or Superman movies?

a two year old wont even really comprehend what the whole thing is about, just as long as you tell them that you cannot get shot in the eyeball and live and flying off of spiderwebs is not a very good way to get around the town...Is a two year old too young to watch Spiderman or Superman movies?the movies are a little bit violent and have some pretty adult stuff in them that might go over their heads. I heard there were a lot of little kids that were scared of Doc Ock in Spiderman 2.



I would just stick to the cartoons for kids that age. they don't much have the attention span to sit still for two hours, and I certainly wouldn't take them to the theatre to watch them. little kids get bored in the theatre.Is a two year old too young to watch Spiderman or Superman movies?
I believe at the age of two, it is hard for them to decipher "make believe" from what is real....
I think so- there is to much violence and things that will scare them. For two year olds the best bet is on PBS in the daytime or Nickelodeon ( Nick Jr.) Disney. These channels are full of age appropriate shows for 2 year olds.Is a two year old too young to watch Spiderman or Superman movies?
My 2yr old LOVES Superman and Spiderman movies, we took him to see the ninja turtles too and he sat through the whole movie at the theatre...i think it depends on the child...we are taking him to see the new spiderman movie at the IMAX, we are so excited!
Hi! I personally believe they are too violent for toddlers (that's why we have movie ratings, those are helpful but you still have to use discretion--PG 13 isnt what it used to be!) Somehow my son, 19 mos, LOVES spiderman! I have NO idea how! He has never seen th emovies! I bought him one pair of sandals with spiermanon them ONE TIME (they were on sale!) and he fell in love! Now of coures with the mass marketing of Spiderman 3, the loves going to Walmart and seeing all the SM3 stuff! Its everywhere!



YOu can always look for the old superman cartoons but I think it's best to not let them watch the current live actio movies. Stick to G movies and PBS.
