which one do you guys think would win in a fight.



i know that goku could blow up a planet and a that bullshit but superman can fly in to the sun and survive.

Who would win in a fight superman or goku form dbz?Superman would wipe the floor with Goku if for no other reason than Dragon Ball Z frickin' SUCKS.



Oh yeah - I said it and I'll say it again: Dragon Ball Z sucks. Always did, always will. But given that the vast majority of anime television shows are garbage, this comes as no surprise though.



Examples of crappy anime TV shows: Dragon Ball Z, Sailor Moon, Pokémon, Digimon, Fullmetal Alchemist, etc, etc, etc.



Examples of good anime TV shows: Star Blazers (Space Battleship Yamato), Robotech, Bubblegum Crisis and... um, that's about it.



Now, there ARE quite a few anime animated features that are great, even inspired: Robot Carnival�?(1987), Akira (1988), Ghost in the Shell (1995), Princess Mononoke (1997), Appleseed (2004) and Appleseed Ex Machina (2007) just to name a few.



But anyway, Superman would win for no other reason than he'd out think Goku. Goku is kind of naive and a bit of a twit.

Superman is faster than the speed of light. Goku is at best several 100 times the speed of sound. Planet busting is useless because Superman can survive it, and Goku will die because he can't breathe in space. Superman has more impressive physical feats under his belt. The most Goku has shown physically has been to shatter mountains. Goku has ki blasts which give him better long range options but that doesn't matter if he can't actually hit the target. On top of that any of Goku's strong ki attacks take time to charge, time he doesn't have against a faster than light opponent. He has no way of getting his hands on Kryptonite, so Superman wins.Who would win in a fight superman or goku form dbz?Goku is much more powerful than superman, he can blow up ******* solar system. I see alot of people on here that say superman is faster than goku. But what you fail to realize is that during battle goku is many times faster than the speed of light. For plot reasons they don't travel that fast when they are flying somewhere. well...superman and goku is unbelievably strong and powerful.

although i'm DBZ fan, its sad that goku is quite disadvantage in the battle between them,

even he has the Instant Transportation technique.



superman is freaking fast.....he catch up with goku in ultra light-speed movement.

even the planet destroyed, both of them can go up to space to continued their fight..but

goku cant stay in that condition without breathing for long.

Goku because the only thing Goku would have to watch out for is Supermans strength because his laser vision, ice breath, and other 999 powers wouldnt work lol and since Superman has no knowledge of ki energy he wouldnt be able to see Goku anyway so it would be like fighting distorted light. Plus all Goku needs is kryptonite or destroy the sun and wish it back with the dragon balls after Superman dies since its the source of his energy.Who would win in a fight superman or goku form dbz?
What version of Superman are you talking about? I just got into this exact discussion and I started doing my research on Superman. Depending on the version it could range from Goku beating him in a couple of seconds(movies and cartoons), to Goku being one-shotted(Superman Prime). Superman gets extremely overpowered in some of his version.

It depends on the circumstances, there's a huge difference in their fighting styles.

Superman is a close range, heavy hitter, and he fights quickly. He doesn't waste time monologuing during a fight, calculating attack strategies and doesn't under-estimate his enemies. He also uses his surrounding to his advantage (if he sees a car, believe it's gonna come at you). He's also kind of the lone-wolf in a fight, and will usually want to take on a powerful enemy on his own. He fights more or less to save others, than take down an enemy. Superman's skin is very dense, and hard to pierce, it takes an immense power of strength to actually make him bleed. If they fight in Sunlight, Superman can't be stopped, as the sun is his unlimited power supply, so Goku would have a hard time killing him. Plus Superman can hold his breath for dramatically long periods of time, so he could survive outer-space and underwater for hours with ease. Superman's faster than the speed of sound, so by the time he sneaks up on you, there wouldn't have been some sort of sonic boom to give it away till seconds after.

Goku is more of a hit and run fighter. He'll fight heavily for a short time, then he'll run to regain some strength and use long-distant attacks from then. He has a habit of under-estimating his enemies, and can be surprised very easily. He will usually taunt his enemy, in order to stall for time, and he never goes into a fight without backup. Superman can use multiple abilities at once, an advantage over Goku, who can't do multiple attacks at the same time. Goku fights in order to take down an enemy and become stronger. His most powerful attack is the spirit-bomb, but it doesn't work on pure-hearted people, and Superman is the definition of pure-hearted. Goku can only use one attack at a time, while Superman can use many. Goku can't survive outer-space or underwater.

When it comes to it, I think the winner depends on the surroundings. If they fight in Metropolis, Superman would be more preoccupied with saving the citizens rather than a fight. If Goku challenged him, Superman wouldn't waste his time and energy anyway, and would instead be worried about the villains possibly attacking Metropolis.

The only reason I could see them fighting is if Superman begins to disagree with Goku's tactics of killing his enemies. Superman would probably resolve to a better solution such as placing them on Apokolips or in the Phantom Zone, plus if anything, Superman could just place Goku in the Phantom Zone.

Superman would probably win because he basically has unlimited amounts of energy in sunlight, where as Goku gets tired quickly, and can't survive extreme enviorments.

To respond to the pro-Goku arguments (or at least those that actually are arguments):

Where would Goku get Kryptonite shoes? For that to happen he would need to search the Earth for Kryptonite, nearly all of which is owned by Lex Luthor, The U.S. Government and Bruce Wayne. Plus Kryptonite is a rock, so it would take multiple tools to actually make shoes out of it, and that's time Goku wouldn't have against Superman.

Goku isn't Asian, he's an alien, so he can't be Asian.

Goku flying doesn't mean he could win, as he can't fly as far as Superman can. So if Superman where to put him in a half-nelson and fly him into Earth's atmosphere, Goku would die.

How would he not be able to see Goku if he has no knowledge of Ki? Because everyone in North City and everyone during the World Tournament could see him. Plus, there's no way to really destroy the sun, as everything within a close proximity of it disintegrates, except for people with Invulnerability. Plus what are you gonna do? Explode it? The sun is basically a thousand nuclear explosions going off at once. It's a ball of explosions! Also, if Goku were too destroy the sun, he would die too, as the Earth would freeze over, as Goku would also die, and wouldn't have enough time to call on Shenron, infact, imagine how much shivering would have happened preventing him from completing the wish anyway.

Once again, he would have to search the globe for Kryptonite.
